My photo gallery on this domain wasn’t working since my transition to a new platform, so I had to do some work to fix it last night. The link ended up changing, although I also put a redirect in place so that if you go to the old one, it will automatically take you to [...]

A new cure for insomnia
I went to a day-long training class yesterday called “Are you Ready to Succeed?” It was being taught by this guy who is a professor all around the world, and wrote a book about how to achieve personal & business success and happiness. Well, kind of. I was really excited to go to this because [...]
Shocked about Heath Ledger
I’m completely stunned about Heath Ledger’s death. I think it’s because he’s my age, and I’ve been a fan of his since his 10 Things I Hate About You days. Ah, Patrick Verona. My heart goes out to his family & friends - this is definitely a great loss to the acting world.
Connecting the dots
I just read something interesting. Has anyone been watching Dance Wars (Bruno vs. Carrie Ann)? Apparently Zack, the guy that I thought for sure Carrie Ann would pick, but ended up being the first guy on Bruno’s team, was the former fiancee of Julianne Hough of Dancing with the Stars fame. Innnnnnnteresting. [...]
Paula’s stalker song
Did anyone catch the premiere of American Idol last night? A few memorable auditions, luckily not too many cringe-worthy moments. The highlight for me? The guy who wrote the song for Paula. It went a little something like this:

She hasn’t noticed me, [...]
Golden Globes picks
Even though it’s going to be a news conference instead of an awesome awards show where all the stars get loaded and tease each other, I’m still interested to see who will win. Here are my picks for the TV awards:
Best Drama: Big Love, Damages, Grey’s Anatomy, House, Mad Men, The Tudors (while I’ve [...]
New templates
I’ll be trying out some new blog templates over the next few days. You’ll have to let me know which ones you like & don’t like.
The current one borders on obnoxious, I know, but there’s something pretty cool about it too. Like someone went over the whole page with a big highlighter.

Tornado near Rockford
Dudes, there were tornadoes in January up north of us. That’s insane.
Also, I’m watching Bruno vs. Carrie Ann. The bad singers are BAD.
Does this mean that Xanax can lower your risk of heart attack?
Maybe it’s a stretch, but since anxiety can increase your risk of heart attack, maybe keeping it under control with medication will lower your ris. That is, if it doesn’t do its own brand of damage.
By the way, is this article supposed to be a big shocker? Doesn’t it just make sense that being anxious [...]
Let the countdown begin
Wow, I’m 29. I have one year to accomplish everything I wanted to by the time I am 30. Luckily for me the list isn’t long. Actually, I can’t really think of anything I wanted to do by the time I was 30.Â
Did/do you have a list? What was on it, and did you accomplish it?
