    The lens is a 70-300mm 4.0-5.6 IS USM Canon lens. It’s pretty sweet. The Image Stabilization is a nice feature, although I had it off for this one, because I took it on a tripod, because I knew that I couldn’t get still enough to get a clear shot.

    If it’s clear tonight or tomorrow night, I’m going to go out earlier when the moon is lower and bigger and try to get something even better.
